Standard Packing QTY
A customer wanted to set a standard package quantity for a part but still be able to sell partial quantities of that part as needed. Is there a way to do that in Cetec ERP?
Yes!
First, how can you set a “standard package” quantity for a part?
Go to the part record and scroll down to the warehouse section. Click the pencil icon to edit that warehouse’s data:
Enter the “Std Package” quantity here
and then click the orange Update button to save your changes.
Second, how do you allow or disallow the sale of partial quantities of that standard package quantity you just set? There is a configuration setting for that! (Admin access is required for this next step.)
Navigate to Admin > Config Settings > Config Settings. Then search for the config setting called “quote_enforce_qty_min_mult”.
To allow sales of quantities other than the standard package quantity, enter a value of 0 and then click Set.
To disallow sales of quantities other than the standard package quantity, enter a value of 1 and then click Set.
