1. After you've committed a quote to order and are in the work order view, note that you can pull materials, labor plan, and revision data from the permanent BOM record to the order-specific BOM.
2. In the quote phase, you can pull data from the permanent record to the quote-specific BOM and vice-versa; once you're in a committed order, it is a one-way process.
3. You can pull data from the permanent BOM record to the order-specific BOM, but not the other way around.
4. To start with materials, go to "Maint/Etc+", then click "BOM Management."
5. If you want to add the components of this BOM or another BOM to the components already listed under the order-specific BOM, choose the BOM whose components you want to add and then click "Add BOM Components."
6. If you want to fully wipe and replace the order-specific BOM with the permanent BOM, click "Replace Order Specific BOM."
7. Note: Cetec will prevent you from doing this if there are parts picked on the workorder; you would need to unpick those first.
8. To pull permanent BOM data for labor plans, click "Maint/Etc+", then click "Labor Plan Management."
9. If there is no labor plan set for this order and you want to pull the permanent labor plan, click "Replace Order Specific Labor Plan."
10. To change which BOM Revision is being used for an order, click "Maint/Etc+", then click "Change Rev."
11. Review the current revision being used on the order.
12. To change revisions, go down to "Existing Revisions," choose the Revision you want to use on this order, and click "Change Rev."
13. Another way to change revisions is to go from the workorder back to the original order.
14. Click "Overview," then "Edit," and on the order line, select a new revision.
