Cetec ERP Release 4.16

We are excited to announce that Cetec ERP 4.16 has been released to BETA!

Cetec ERP 4.16 will be rolled out to LIVE cloud environments in late July or early August. We are looking forward to seeing our customers take advantage of the number of new features in Cetec ERP 4.16, all geared to make daily tasks simpler and teams more efficient!

Important new features:

• Due Dates can now be set in the Workflow. When Due Date is set, an email with an ics calendar invite is sent to the user who is assigned the workflow. The Workflow state will then be highlighted in green for a future date or in red if past due. The Workflow Due Dates can be displayed on the new versions of the Quote List, Sales Order List, Production Order List, PQuote List and User Task List. Visit our guide to learn more.
• New labor split helper! When splitting a work order into discrete quantities, there is now a fractional split helper tool that applies the ratio of the split quantity to divide labor between work orders. This functionality is available on the new version of the work order split screen when labor segments are selected. Visit the how to here.
• You can now customize your own work order traveler (license plate). On the Documents section of a work order, use the see preferences link to choose which fields are included. These settings save per user. Visit our guide.

Other new features:

• In new versions of modules, the Notes section now includes a notes summary grid showing counts and the most recent note by type.
• On the BOMQuoteWorksheet, components in a part spec group can be swapped via dropdown select.
• Increased barcode scanning at receiving allows scanning the PO number and then the part number to auto-select matching PO lines.
• The invoice details and serials screen now shows linked outsource POs at the bottom.
• The historical part demand report includes a filter to separate internal transfers from true usage.
• Subassembly part numbers on the BOMQuoteWorksheet can be edited inline.
• New auto-population behavior sets customer associations on quotes and orders based on configuration.
• A new helper tool suggests standard cost for parts using a costing lot size and BOM rollup.
• The Pick Parts export now includes date code, lot code, ref designator, and pick comments.
• Closed vendor returns can now be reopened to edit certain fields.
• Cross parts can have a default selected to auto-populate on PQuote and PO lines.
• An update button has been added to the top of the pick parts page.
• A Dock Date filter is available on the PO Receipts list.
• Admin controls now validate formatting for sensitive configuration inputs.
• Documents List includes a File Size filter.
• BOM import automation smart matches column headers during mapping.
• View Work report includes a Project ID filter.
• Vendor records include discount tolerance days to manage discount grace periods.
• Production Order List includes a new External Customer column.
• AR Invoice Vs Ledger audit now supports multi-currency.
• Two new roles allow editing of Quote and Order terms.
