Due Dates can now be set within any workflow in Cetec ERP. A workflow state with a due date assigned will be highlighted in green if for a future date, or in red if the workflow due date is past due. Heres how:

  • To set a due date, navigate to any page with a workflow. Here we will look at setting a workflow due date within a Quote.
  • Navigate to Sales> Quotes> New Quote.
  • Within the Quote, click into the workflow in the top-right corner
  • We will be re-assigning the sales editing workflow stage to another user for this quote and then be setting a due date for this task
  • Select the Reassign drop-down and select the user you want to reassign the task to and select reassign.
  • Below in the workflow, you will observe a due date field where you can apply a due date for the task. Select the due date field.
  • We want to set a due date on this task for Tuesday, Oct 1 at 12:00 PM. Select the applicable date and time in the calendar, and select Set.
  • The due date has now been set for the workflow task.
  • Upon the due date being set, the assigned user will receive an email of a .ics calendar invite with the workflow due date to easily add to the users calendar.
  • These workflow due dates are now reportable within the new versions of the Quote List, Sales Order List, Production Order List, PQuote List and User Task List.
  • You can navigate to the Sales Quote List under Sales> Quotes> Quote list.
  • On the Quote list you can observe a column titled Workflow Due Date that will display the due date set for the current workflow stage for the quote.
