1. Navigate to the part record of the component you are wanting to replace.
2. Click BOM DATA+ on the left hand column of the part record, and then click BOM USE.
3. Notice near the left side of the page, Replace This Component In Every BOM Where It Is Used has a text box next to it.
4. In the text box, you will enter an already created part, which Cetec will automatically populate for you.
5. Select the component, then click Submit.
6. Cetec will automatically replace the old component with the new one in all BOMs where it is listed.
7. Verify the consistency of the update by searching a component or two to ensure the appropriate system behavior has occurred.
