How does Cetec show you why a past purchase was made?
Whenever a PQuote (purchasing quote) is initiated, Cetec ERP takes a snapshot of the part waterfall and attaches it to the documents of that PQuote. Note: this snapshot does not include the PQuote that it is attached to.
By viewing the part waterfall and the various orders that drove demand, you can view the reasoning behind the purchase.
To view this snapshot, go to the part record. On the left hand navigation menu, select PO history.
Then pull up the PO you want to see.
From here go to the documents tab, and you will see a downloadable image of the part waterfall.
