Cetec ERP Version 4.19
We are excited to announce that Cetec ERP 4.19 has been released to BETA!
Cetec ERP 4.19 will be rolled out to LIVE cloud environments in June. We are looking forward to seeing our customers take advantage of the number of new features in Cetec ERP 4.19, all geared to make daily tasks simpler and teams more efficient!
Important new features:
New A/R & A/P Summary
As part of the project to re-write the underpinnings of Cetec ERP reports, the new version of both the A/R Aging and A/P Aging Summaries are now available! This will bring significant speed enhancements to both reports, along with other improvements to user experience and functionality.
Deprecate Old Versions Of Some Part Lists
The ‘old version’ of some part lists have been deprecated! These have been replaced with rewritten and optimized versions. The new version of these pages are available within the regular Navigation Menu (see the Parts List, the Cross Part List, the List By Warehouse, the List By Bin, and the PRC List.) - users may need to recreate bookmarks and adjust visible columns.
Purchase Order Workflow
A workflow was added to the Purchase Order object, allowing users to build a custom workflow specific to POs.
New Quality Dashboard Widgets (KPIs)
There are new home page dashboards for inspection failure codes and inspected vs rejected. The Inspection Failures widget will be a pie chart showing failure codes, while the Inspected vs Rejected widget will show qty inspected vs rejected, PPM, and Pass Percentage (for Yield). Read the blog here.
Device History Record (DHR) Document
For medical device manufacturers, there is a new customizable document autopopulated on the order, work order, and invoice for the Device History Record (DHR). Visit our FAQ here.

Batch Pick Parts PDF
A Pick Parts PDF was added to the Batch object, which is a grouping of work orders for time logging and consolidated picking. Visit our guide to learn more about batch orders. -
Add Batch Serial Numbers
Users can now specify a set of Serials for an Order by batch creating Serials with a textarea data input on a work order. Previously, users would have to edit these one at a time. (Hat tip to Regis for the idea!) Visit the guide. -
Force Password Reentry on Workflow Assignment
There is a new column, ‘Require Validation’, on the workflow data maintenance table that will force users to reenter a password when moving an object to this workflow stage. -
Log time on My Tasks widget
You can now log time to an orderline via the My Tasks widget. -
Invoice List Enhancement (Report On Line “Tags”)
We added a new column to the Invoice list to report on quote line tags relevant to that Invoice line. -
Add Ability To Name Linked External Documents
Previously, when attaching a document as a link (not natively), the document was required to be named according to the link (URL/filepath) itself. Now, you can re-name it to whatever name you’d like. -
Global Search Restrictions For Production Only Users
Previously, users with the “Production Only” role were shown Global Search results they did not have access to (Global Search is the search function at the top right of every page). Search results have been changed to only show Work Orders for users with the “Production Only” role to reflect their access level. -
Add COO Field to Receipt List
On the receiving screen, users can reference COO (Country of Origin) per receipt. Now, you can search for COO on the receipt list. -
Component Misc Charge Adder Now Supports %’s
Misc Charges now support %’s, which creates a charge line with the resale set to a percentage of the part’s default cost. Previously only discrete $ amounts were supported on Misc Charges. This will provide additional options for customers to manage tariffs. -
Vendor Performance Now Supports Reporting On User Defined Fields (Bonus columns)
This is a new version only feature that is available on the new version of the bonus columns page and the new version of the vendor performance list. -
Corrective Actions (CARs) Now Support User Defined Fields (Bonus columns)
Only available on the new version of the bonus columns page and will only show up on the new version of the CAR module. -
Production Order List Report Now Displays Credit Hold Comments You can now see credit hold comments on the invoice list.

Side Nav Improvements on Order Header
The left hand navigation on the new version of the Order screen (order header) has an improved visual structure that includes grouping and reordering for better organization and improved user experience. -
Order Name Part of Object Name
The Order name is now part of the Object Name as a way to improve workflow task management and visibility. This may impact custom docs where the order name is set to show explicitly! -
Hide Pick All Lines When Scan Is Required
New behavior to hide the Pick All Lines button when the “Scan Required to Pick” config setting is enabled. -
Invoice Tax Edits
On the Invoice edit, there is now the option to update the Invoice tax percent if the tax group has changed since invoice.
