- In Cetec, you can create workorders for a top-level assembly and its subassemblies at the same time.
- Create a quote for a multi-level BOM, then commit it to order.
- Once you click commit order, you are taken to a screen where you can choose how the subs of this BOM are handled.
- Because you want to create related suborders for your subs at the same time your top-level assembly order is created, select “Yes.”
- Commit your order, and you will see multiple orders are created.
- In the left side menu, you can see the links for any suborders created.
- If you click into the suborder, you see a link to the internal PO that was created for this sub.
- From any suborder screen, you can easily navigate back to the top order.
- From the top order, click Workorder View+ and then click Line 1.
- Drill into the Parts tab, and notice the sub-part shows up here and has one line since its components are being handled separately.
