BOM Charges are a good way to add additional charges to your top level assembly. These charges can be rolled up into the BOM or added as a charge line to your quotes. Learn how to set this up below.

• First navigate to the part record for a BOM. Click into Maint+ on the left hand navigation, then click Charges.
• On the Charges page, add a new BOM charge. There are three different charge types.
  • Rollup on BOM: This option rolls up the cost to the BOM and no additional line is added to your quotes. You can only add a cost here.
  • Add Line Item: This will add an additional line item to your quotes. This option allows for a resale and cost amount to be input. This will be multiplied by the qty input on the line.
  • Ignore: This allows you to opt to ignore the charge altogether.
• Once you have set up your charge, add that part to a quote.
• Click into the BOM Worksheet on the quote line. You can see the BOM charges under Misc Charges Total.
• If you are using the Rollup on BOM option it will include the cost in the total cost of the BOM, which is used to add margin to the product.
• If you are using the Add Line Item option it will add the additional line once you click Transfer to Quote.
