You are able to add multiple currencies to your Cetec ERP environment. Heres how:

  • The first step is to open Cetec ERP and click Admin > Maintenance > Data Maintenance .
  • In the “name” search bar, type in “currency” and click Submit.
  • Click into the Currency table.
  • Click add record.
  • Add in your currency abbreviation. Examples: EUR, JPY, GBP, CAD, CNY.
  • Add in the currency sign.
  • Add a description. Examples: Euro, Japanese Yen, British Pound, Canadian Dollar, Chinese Yuan .
  • Type in your Default Cash Account ID and Default Undeposited Funds Account ID.
  • Add in your Remit Address ID. Note: this value should correspond to the ID of the location (LNAME table) that you want customers to remit payments of this currency to.
  • Add in your bank instructions. Note: Specify instructions that will appear on the invoice PDF.
  • Click Submit
  • If you need exchange rates, set them up in your Currency Rates table (Admin > Maintenance > Data Maintenance) for each active currency you have. Cetec ERP will run a daily script to update those exchange rates per the global exchange rate database.
