How do you create a BOM (bill of materials) from a quote in Cetec ERP?

• Create a new quote.
• Add a new line to the quote and type the name of your BOM into the part box then click add.
• To be sure Cetec knows this part is a BOM click the pencil icon and change the trans code to Build and click ok.
• Click into the BOM worksheet icon that looks like a piece of paper.
• To add components to your new BOM enter a PRCpart with its Quantity Per Top as a new line item. You can add as many parts as you need for the BOM.
• We do have an import function as well on the left hand nav that will let you import components.
• Your BOM (or changes to the BOM) can be committed to its permanent BOM record. Just click the Commit BOM button toward the top.
• Note: New BOMs (or changes to a BOM) will be committed to the permanent BOM record automatically if and when the quote is converted to an order.
• To see the revision you’ve just created, click into the BOM link.
• This will take you to the part record’s View screen. In the left side menu, click Revisions, then Edit BOM next to the revision.
