The Ontime Shipment Report is a great tool to use when needing to keep track of shipments headed to your customers, and if those shipments are on track to arrive as planned. Youll first want to:

  • Navigate to Sales> Reports> Ontime Shipment Report.
  • In the header, you have the option to select a date range and type. For example, if you wanted to render a list with Invoice Dates in the month of December, you would set the date range to December, and then select Invoice Date as your date type.
  • Click Submit.
  • Youll notice that this particular report has a header that renders lists, and a corresponding bar chart. To show the chart, click, Show/Hide Chart. The chart is designed to allow you to compare your header date type to the other options.
  • Note that the date range and type that you set in the header will automatically populate in the chart. Changing the first date type or the date range in the chart, however, will not change the date type or range in the header. It is recommended that you make these changes in the header to avoid confusion.
  • The chart will compare the orders with Invoice Dates in the month of December to their Ship Target to see if they are on time, or not.
  • The On Time column automatically denotes which orders are on time by comparing the date of the selected type to the Ship Target Date.
  • You can see that an invoice is not on time if its Invoice Date is a day later than its Ship Target Date.
  • You can use the chart date filters to flip between these options. For example, if you wanted to instead compare Ship Targets to their Original Ship Date, you would select it from the drop down menu. Notice how the chart immediately changes to reflect this new comparison.
