Cetec ERP has partnered with Boardera Software Inc. to connect PCB analysis, costing, and quoting with live inventory data from Cetec ERP.

The integration is built for EMS providers and contract manufacturers that need to move quickly from an incoming RFQ to a production-ready quote. Parts inventory from Cetec ERP can now flow directly into Boardera, giving quoting teams current component information without repeated searches between systems.

Connecting PCB Quoting with ERP Inventory

PCB assembly quoting often starts with a mixed package of design files, fabrication notes, BOM data, and customer requirements. Before sending a quote, manufacturers may need to review the BOM, source components, check existing inventory, estimate labor, apply pricing rules, and identify manufacturability concerns.

Boardera handles much of the PCB-specific analysis involved in that process, including design-file analysis, BOM scrubbing and sourcing, labor and material costing, PCB pricing, DFM review, and quote generation.

With the Cetec ERP integration, Boardera can also reference parts inventory maintained in Cetec ERP. That allows quoting teams to account for components already on the shelf while they are building the quote.

For EMS manufacturers, that connection can reduce manual part lookups and help prevent unnecessary purchasing assumptions from making their way into a quote.

Manufacturers Keep Control of Their Costing Rules

The integration does not require manufacturers to replace their existing costing methods.

Boardera allows companies to apply their own labor configurations, pricing rules, and Excel-based formulas. Cetec ERP provides the current parts and inventory data behind those calculations.

That gives estimating teams a connected process while preserving the costing logic they already use to price PCB assembly work.
