AQLs (Acceptable Quality Level) provide a way to determine the amount of defects/failures on an inspection in a given lot. This how to walks you through the setup process, and how this will display on the supported inspection objects.

Setup:

2. Go to Admin>Maintenance>Data Maintenance and search for AQL (Acceptable Quality Level)

3. Click Add Record. You will see the following fields to edit:

• Inspection Type

• AQL

• Lot Size

• Sample Size
4. Inspection Type: there are four options for inspection type to set. You can define AQLs for the default, or for specific types.

• Default: applies to all inspection types

• In Process: work order inspection

• Incoming: receiving inspection

• Kit Audit: kit audit screen on work order
5. Enter the Inspection Type, AQL, Lot Size range, and Sample SizeNote: you can leave the upper bound open on Lot Size6. Once setup, on any of the supported inspection screens, Cetec ERP will populate the Sample size based on AQL and Lot Size

Using AQLs

1. Navigate to the Inspection screen

• In Process: Work Order Inspection screen

• Incoming: Incoming Inspection screen (under Warehouse>Receiving>Incoming Inspections)

• Kit Audit: Kit Audit screen on the work order
2. AQL will be a dropdown showing the available AQLs for that inspection type3. Lot size will default to Qty Due on the order, but can be overridden depending situation4. Sample size will auto-populate based on these two fields
